I travel to Joliet for work and this spot is on my route, which I’m so thankful for. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, the food is absolutely delicious and the customer service is immaculate I’ve gone to them almost everyday this week and have not been disappointed lol they also have half priced tacos on tuesdays and Thursdays

I ordered mango margarita and it was really good. Chips and salsa were good. Love the carrots . Service was great, very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was good, clean , not too busy. Music was good. I had the chulaquiles with steak and egg, daughter had steak tacos and all was good.

The food is very good. I have gone to carnales six times now and can say their food is consistently good and the portions are ample leaving room for some to take home.. they give you a large bowl of pickled vegetables with chips and salsa and two large bottles of green and red pepper sauces as soon as you sit down, the quality is excellent. The salsa is smooth and spiced well. The chips are crisp and plentiful. I recommend the carnitas taco dinner mexican style "onions cilantro". it has always been good when I order it. The dinning area is clean and the waitresses are attentive and kind. I recommend this restaurant. I'd recommend ordering the carnitas tacos with a dark beer like Negra modelo with a slice of lime.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had steak quesadillas dinner and my daughter had steak taco dinner; guacamole very fresh! is cute and clean. Servers nice and friendly but were too busy on their phones; never checked on us, we never got our drinks refilled.

Great tacos and amazing staff!!!! Stopped in on a whim on my way home and they did not disappoint. The tacos were not skimpy at all. They were full in size and flavor. We come almost every Tuesday at this point lol. Oh and the margaritas are good and strong.

I'm here from Kentucky to visit my sister and I found this place cuz the reviews, and they were not wrong. Absolutely love carrots and peppers that come with the chips. Salsa is good as well. I got three taco dinner and it was great. The server was also very pleasant. I will return.

Woohoo! I’ll take the opportunity to be the first review. This place is AWESOME! Both the pastor and steak tacos were phenomenal, ground beef was great too! The salsas were phenomenal, love the chips and salsa (the chip salsa was on point) Servers went above and beyond, super nice and sweet. They really make you feel welcome. We will be back!
